Problem

Dockerfile copies entire frontend/ directory (line 6: COPY frontend/ ./) including:

  • node_modules/ (~100MB+)
  • .git/
  • dist/ (built artifacts)
  • IDE files

This dramatically slows down Docker builds.

Expected Behavior

Add .dockerignore in frontend/ or root with:

node_modules
.git
dist
.env
*.log
.DS_Store
  • Dockerfile (lines 4-7)
  • Need to create: frontend/.dockerignore or root .dockerignore

Merged #142: .dockerignore now excludes **/node_modules, **/.vite, **/dist, **/.env*, .DS_Store. Dockerfile only COPYs app/, main.py, entrypoint.sh, scripts/, requirements.txt and builds the frontend in its own stage, so nothing it needs is excluded. Safe to close once main CI is green.
